Boost on the BBC!
So, did you hear us? Or see us? We were on the Radio and the TV – hooray!
Yes, that was us being featured across the BBC on Tuesday 29th November.
When BBC reporter Emma Ruminski visited Boost HQ, she interviewed Sam (our Co Founder) and Sue (Sam’s Mum) about the Boost Breast Forms for a report to highlight Sam’s recent inclusion as one of the 10 Highly Commended Female Entrepreneurs in the NatWest and Telegraph 100 Female Entrepreneurs to Watch List.
Sue talked about how her breast cancer diagnosis had come about, starting off with an ‘itch’ which led to her finding a lump some months later. She explained why she had found the traditional prosthesis difficult to wear, and why she has since found that the Boost products were much more comfortable for her.
Sam showed Emma around the stock room and explained what makes Boost’s design so different to the traditional prosthesis. We are so proud of the lighter, airy structure of the Boost design that we couldn’t wait to share our business journey with a wider audience.
