Breast Forms on the BBC

We’ve been on the Radio! If you live in Devon, you might have heard us last week in the BBC Radio Devon Studio, joining the wonderful David Fitzgerald to talk about boobs, breast cancer and our FIRST EVER pop-up shop! There’s been so many exciting topics to cover in the world of alternative Breast Forms and the ever-dazzling heights Boost is reaching!

We were delighted to share that we will be having a stand in the Exeter John Lewis store from the 19th to the 25th June and had a lot of attention from callers who phoned in to share their experiences after mastectomy. It’s wonderful to see so much interest in Breast Forms on the BBC from listeners all over Devon, and the amazing community response has filled us with such gratitude towards everyone who participated and tuned in to the show.

Fitz was surprised by the weight and feel of the traditional prosthesis (of course, we took some boobs to the studio!) and described our alternative Boosts perfectly. It was wonderful to hear from other women who said they would pop in to see us while we are in Exeter. Particularly, the story of Louise who had run the London Marathon topless after her double mastectomy, which was such an amazing achievement! You can read about her story on Facebook and support her next Marathon in 2024 here: https://2024tcslondonmarathon.enthuse.com/pf/louise-butcher/post/3583803?fbclid=IwAR0rOInkg1l67aDpI-Hpiy-3Nhj6Pt7F7UNkbeSfcYChLngdWB4q_FKDObA

We’re hoping to return to BBC Radio Devon in the next few months with an update on Boost and our wonderful customers, so keep listening out for the phrase Breast Forms on the BBC Radio Devon station.
