How would you describe Boost breast forms? 

In simple terms, Boost breast forms are a bra insert that you can pop into your bra, top, bralette, swimsuit or sports bra, creating a natural breast shape and contour under your clothing or sportswear.

Why was Boost created?

The brand was created with the aim of filling a gap in the market for comfortable, lightweight and breathable breast forms that would be suitable for a wide range of different people. Boost’s ambition is to help breast form wearers feel comfortable and confident.

 

How much do your breast forms weigh? 

Unlike many breast prosthetics, Boost breast forms are truly lightweight, usually weighing at least 50% less than a traditional silicone gel prosthesis. This means it’s more comfortable to wear and is less likely to move away from the body, making it ideal for use in activities and exercise.

 

How do you know what size breast form you need?

We’ve worked with bra fitting experts to create a size guide, but bras vary a lot in their sizes from brand to brand. On our website you will find our breast form size guide to help you calculate the right fit for you try.

Do We Wear Boost deliver outside of the UK?

Yes absolutely!  Boost ship from our HQ in Cornwall, UK via our website. International orders are processed by appropriate couriers and can take up to 14 working days (depending on your location) after dispatch from Boost HQ.

Can your breast forms be offered to patients through the breast cancer care team in hospitals?

Hopefully! We are now working with the NHS as part of the NHS Innovation Accelerator Fellowship programme. This is a big step forward and although in the early stages, this partnership means that in the future you might be able to access a Boost breast form through your NHS breast cancer care team. 

For those customers who are based in an NHS Wales region, there are already Boost breast forms available for you to access through your local NHS care providers. Please get in touch with them directly to discuss your requirements.

 

Are you able to wear a Boost breast form whilst exercising or swimming? 

Definitely! When designing Boost breast forms, ensuring our customers could continue to stay active was a top priority. Our lightweight and breathable breast forms are the perfect insert to your swimming costume, sports bra or exercise top. Due to the innovative and thoughtful design, these breast forms stay in place, are fully waterproof and continue to be comfortable during and after exercise.

 

How much does a Boost Breast Form cost?
Our curve range are currently priced at £75, whilst the smaller shape range of breast forms are priced at £65. It’s important to remember that these products are made with care, by a small company, using medical grade silicone. Our aim is that your Boost breast form will be your daily companion for years to come.

 

 

What colour is your bestseller?
Great question! Our bestselling colour is the Pale Peach Mandala, which is available in both our Shape breast form and Curve breast form range. Our bestselling size is the Medium Full.

 

Are your breast forms recyclable?
Yes! Our products are designed with longevity in mind, meaning they’ll be part of your essential style kit for years to come. Where other prostheses might only last a year or two, we’ve designed our breast forms to last 5+ years. Once you are ready to replace your Boost with a new one we encourage all our customers to send their old Boost back to us so that we can recycle the materials.

 

 

Do you need to wear them with a specific mastectomy sports bra or swimsuit?
For general use there is no need to buy a specific mastectomy bra or swimsuit as long as your garment fits you well and the Boost feels comfortable against you. However, those who are undertaking more rigorous sports or swimming, you may choose to fit your breast form within a suit or sport outfit that is tailored to your needs to help hold it in place.

 

Can Boost breast forms be used following a double mastectomy?
Yes, most definitely. Where other breast prosthesis might feel far too heavy to carry on your chest all day, Boost’s lightweight breast forms are the perfect bra insert to create a natural looking breast contour if you’ve had a double mastectomy.
